A welcoming memory care community that allows your loved one to maintain a dignified quality of life is what families will discover when they visit Sunshine Village in Phoenix, Arizona. Our community features seven unique households that serve 12 residents at any given time. This allow our residents to not only benefit from living in an intimate, homelike setting but allows us to provide greater oversight to ensure they live safely.
Sunshine Village is a locally owned and operated senior living community. We specialize in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia at all stages of the disease. From our administrative team to caregiving staff, everyone strives to deliver quality care and build strong connections and relationships with our residents.
Featured Amenities
At Sunshine Village our residents are free to choose how to spend their days. The Clubhouse hosts activities that include yoga, art classes and card games. For those who like to explore outside, we have an inviting, secured courtyard where residents can garden or walk along the walking paths.
Our cozy apartments have all the amenities your loved one needs to feel right at home. We offer studio floor plans, and residents are encouraged to bring beloved items to make the space feel truly like their own. Since we provide weekly housekeeping and linen services, your loved one doesn't have to worry about household chores.
Available Services
An inviting atmosphere is found our family-style dining room, and residents always have delicious selections of dementia-friendly foods to choose from. Family are always welcome to join us for a meal, even when it's not a holiday celebration.
As a community that offers memory care services, our staff assist residents with the activities of daily living services so they may continue to remain independent. All our staff are specially trained to care for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia and because we have a high ratio of caregivers to residents, we can build connections with each resident and further enhance their life.

I visited this facility
Sunshine Village was nice and had individual cottages with about 10 people in each. They have many activities, and I felt like it was a good place. It's not that big, but it was very clean, neat and well kept. Even in the memory care, they try to keep them busy with music and entertainment coming in. They have a big, secure porch outside. It was very pleasant and nice with flowers, trees, and green lawns.
