The Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is close by, and public transportation affords easy access to city amenities.

Miriam's Adult Care Home is a care facility that provides memory care services. The highly trained and caring staff work with seniors who require some help with daily activities, and have the expertise to support those who suffer from confusion, behavioral issues or distress as a result of Alzheimer's or dementia. Staff is on duty 24 hours per day and can offer medication reminders, continence care and transfers using the Hoyer lift.

The facility holds devotional services on-site, allowing seniors the opportunity to worship within the privacy of their home. Meals are provided each day, with kosher and vegetarian options for those with dietary restrictions. A number of on-site activities are offered to help keep seniors active, and off-site excursions take place regularly. Resident parking is also available.
