Summa Care is located in Gilbert, Arizona. The city is home to a population of 240,000 people and is less than half an hour from Phoenix by car. Gilbert's most famous attraction is Riparian at Water Ranch, one of the largest wildlife preserves in America. The city also stands near several regional parks, golf courses, and other centers for outdoor recreation.

Summa Care is a residential care home that provides hospice care, as well as incontinence care for bowel and bladder problems. The staff is trained in Hoyer Lift techniques for total transfer and may also administer insulin shots. Residents have the choice of private or semiprivate floor plans.

Residents are served by an on-site barber and beauty salon. A diverse selection of meals and transportation are complimentary to anyone who lives at the home. Seniors may borrow books from Summa Care's library, which carries a wide array of books, and relax in the outdoor courtyard and gazebo. Pets are also welcome, with some restrictions.
