The one I like the very best that I felt was the nicest is Westmont of Morgan Hill. It’s very beautiful, new, and looks like a 5-star resort. We like the decorating and the open feeling of it. It has a very classy feel. They have a beautiful movie theater that's not just a room, but a really big theater, and a beautiful dining room, wine area, and exercise area. It really has everything. The rooms aren’t the biggest, but as far other amenities, it seems really nice. It doesn’t seem any more expensive than the others.
I’m currently in Pinole Senior Village. I like the rates, the accessibility, and the transportation that they provide to the medical facilities in the area. I like the food, and the staff is extremely helpful.
I liked The Terraces of Roseville. It was really nice. We're looking at a corner two-bedroom apartment that we really liked except for the fact that all the traffic would have made it almost impossible to make a left turn out of the area. The right turn was hard, too, and we're not used to a lot of traffic. If we didn't have a car, it would be different, but right now, it was a little overwhelming.
My mom is in the Terraces. The accommodations are a little dated, but it fits our budget, and the food is OK. The staff for the most part is very respectful, very kind, and nice, but I’m watching my bills because there are all kinds of errors from the billing department. The previous owners sold the building to a new investor, so there will be some changes in as far as building upgrades. The parking is really bad.
Westmont of Brentwood was very nice and clean. I was very impressed. It seemed like a happy environment, and the staff was very helpful. They had a little workout room, music every Friday where they had singers come in, bingo three times a week, and outings in the bus. They just had a Mother’s Day brunch and reading time where someone did some reading. They had church time on Sundays. I would recommend them to others. The residents seemed very comfortable and happy and liked their apartments. They had a beautiful dining area and beauty shops.
I would love to have my mom at Westmont, but it’s way overpriced. They have everything anybody could possibly want. It’s like being in a ski resort. They’re very attentive, have a lot of exercises, top-notch food, and beautiful with stone pillars everywhere. The staff was very caring.
San Miguel Community Park is within walking distance of this modern assisted living community with a memory care program that is tailored to seniors' specific needs. This facility is moderately priced and offers many extras including clubs, fitness and spa services, and activities that help seniors to remain socially active and meet new friends.
This is not your ordinary assisted living facility. Many of the seniors at this facility are independent and require little to no assistance with activities of daily living. There are also assisted living seniors that stay active and strive to remain as independent as possible. The facility staff and management encourages this independence without being overbearing to the residents.
Everything from the design of the facility to the ways in which the facility treats the residents like competent individuals is unique and professional. This facility should be on the top ten list for every senior in the Chula Vista area that requires assistance with memory care and living activities.
Westmont Town Court is a really modern facility. There’s much to love about this facility. The building as a whole is very modern with skylights and glass ceilings in some areas. There’s also plenty of natural light streaming in through the many windows of the facility. This facility has plenty of amenities including media rooms, fitness centers and a library. There’s no shortage of amenities here which I found to be very impressive. Considering it's size I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building. There was also places to dispose of trash throughout the building, something that I thought was a plus. The staff members I saw also engaged the residents very well.
The Terraces of Roseville is conveniently located off of Sunrise Blvd with plenty of parking nestled among the oak trees. This community offers Independent, Assisted and Memory Care Options so if your level of care increases, you can stay within the same community. There are so many activities that this is like a cruise ship on land. The building is beautifully decorated with bright open common areas to enjoy meeting new friends. They have a great Sunday brunch where they encourage families to join. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home.
