Brighton Gardens impressed me. The tour was very good and everything was clean. The residents appeared happy. They had a lot of activities planned, and I got to see the residents involved in those activities and during mealtime. The food and living conditions looked good. There seemed to be a lot of employees there. It was decorated nice. The location and grounds were good. They had a walking path and walking group for the residents. I saw that they were having a birthday for one of the residents who was turning 100. They had matching tablecloths, nice place settings, and a vase of flowers on each table. It almost looked like a restaurant. The people looked and smiled at us. They were having a conversation while they were eating, and I saw a lot of employees.
Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem has well-organized staffing. It was clean. Residents appear to be content. We saw several rooms that seemed adequate. The facility's layout was good. We had lunch there, and the food was fine. The dining area was clean and sufficient.
I enjoyed Brighton Gardens of Greensboro as much as the other place I visited. There are a couple of people who live there that my husband would know, so it would be like having friends there already. I saw a physical therapist working with one person and another therapist who was working. I stopped to speak with her and with a gentleman on that floor. He was talking about the facility and how they treat their residents on that particular wing, which just had memory loss people and what I was interested in. It seemed like I could get along with the staff. Everybody was so friendly and it didn’t seem like they were doing it because they had me there. I think it’s just the way they are.
The staff at Brighton Gardens seemed good, but it seemed like a cluttered and a tight space with no outdoor space, and one of the main things we were looking for was outdoor space. It had a very small dining room for the memory care patients. There were small, individual rooms placed very close together.
Brighton Gardens was great and felt like a home. I would have chosen them, but the fee was too high. It provided what I need but not what I needed for my husband. If I had the money, that’s where I would go.
A very nice facility. The residents all appeared to be happy and communicating well with each other. I have never had their food. The building is quite inviting, and the staff seems well educated. This is essential when caring for senior citizens. The way a building looks and is maintained has a direct impact on how residents feel about themselves. The education of the staff, too, has a massive impact on day to day life. I believe they do a good job at Sunrise on Providence.
A beautiful facility, and the staff seemed to be caring and interactive with the residents. I recommend Brighton Gardens. They have a great concern about educating their staff on dementia care. This is essential as our population ages and dementia becomes more prevalent. I enjoyed my tour, and I have referred individuals to their facility. Their residents are very interactive with visitors, and they speak well about their home. Brighton Gardens is a place I recommend.
My mom, especially, loves the outings. In this environment (Memory Care), she is always made aware of the outings, and totally enjoys them. There is a lot of variety and opportunity for her to experience many things, from scenic drives, to shopping, crafts, restaurants, etc. She has enjoyed the food, and really feels at home in her room. She seems to be complimentary of the staff, and has more good days than bad. The Memory Care environment has been perfect for her needs!
Beautiful community in the south park area of Charlotte. They have a transportation to the local walmart for shopping. They have a new director and dietary manager. The company is very invested in their success. Good things are to come.
I have been working with the staff at Brighton Gardens in Charlotte for several years and they always have been professional, often times exceeding my expectations. They always keep the best interest of their residents in mind and will stop whatever task they are doing to assist one of their seniors when needed. No task is ever too small for any of the community's employees,
Sunrise on Providence is a must see. A beautiful facility with residents who are happy and engaged. I ranked the food as a three star because I have never eaten there. They have a strong emphasis on dementia education.
Brighton Gardens is a fabulous facility. Located in a very desirable section of South Charlotte, Brighton Gardens lives up to the standards expected for that area of town. I have rated them with all five stars because they deserve it. I rated the food only on appearance. It looks fabulous! However, I have never actually eaten there.
The employees at Brighton Gardens are top notch and have a great deal of love and concern for their residents. I recommend Brighton Gardens to my clients regularly.
