It is our pleasure to give Garden Estates of Tyler, TX a ‘FULL CONFIDENCE” rating. From the very first phone call seeking information to the present (our loved one is now a resident of this facility in Assisted Living). A search for a living residence for our parent was totally new for us. “Help is on the way at Garden Estates of Tyler. They are all patient regarding our numerous questions”. Ramon K. was our first point of contact via phone showing genuine interest, concern and clarity. After setting up a visit, all staff went out of their way to be friendly. We did not encounter any staff who did not make us feel welcome. During the sharing time there was much interaction between Ramon and our family, that included interaction with our parent. You could sense his interest and understood the affect of a life transition on all of us. Garden Estates is clean every where you look. From our observation, Garden Estates’ priority is each and every resident. Before the end of two weeks, our loved one was already being called by name by staff. At Garden Estates, you are family not just another person or resident. The medical staff with Keisha F. LVN at the helm, provides TOP NOTCH care to the residents with love and concern the same way we would do for our parent. Their dispensing of Meds is not an extra. Your loved one(s) will not be alone or feel so. The food service from Chef to its serving is quality. We were given the privilege to eat a lunch and dinner meal there with our loved one. Friendly, caring, good food and variety describes this experience. Deidra H., Executive Director personally along with her Assistant Shannon, went over all the financial obligations with our family and parent once we committed to residence. Professional, caring and explanatory would describe our time with Deidra and Shannon. Every question we had was kindly answered by Garden Estates including names of movers if so needed. Movers Jerry Stewart and crew went above and beyond in moving our parent from home to facility making this a smooth transition.
I liked The Village at the Woodlands Waterway. It felt more open and airy. I was very disappointed that the staff member we had an appointment with did not tell me upfront that she had another meeting with a client, but I was really impressed with the person who did tour us. They gave us a little goody bag and thanked us for visiting. The dining room was beautiful. They had transportation for the people.
Court at Round Rock was our number 1 choice. We really enjoyed it. Debra was really great. We liked the way that she identified my mother and introduced her to people there. She made my mom feel a part of it. The place was very clean, nice, open, and friendly. We met a lot of the residents, who we liked because they were everywhere. We were very pleased with the place.
The Village was very beautiful and looked like a resort. They were very friendly and had an opening for my mother-in-law, so they were really trying to sell the place. They had lots of activities, even more than where she’s living now. In this place, it seemed you could do whatever you could dream of. It was very nice, but you had to have money for that. The staff was very nice and very friendly. As a matter of fact, I just popped in because I emailed them, but they gave me a tour and everything.
The people at Orchard Park of McKinney were very nice and knowledgeable, and you could tell that they were proud of their building. I looked at the apartments and I thought they were small but functional for the price. My mom would probably be very happy there. I didn't see any activities, but they told me that they have calendars that they place in their rooms on a monthly basis so they know what's going on and have church services available. The only thing I didn't like was the location. They built condos right in front of it, so you don't really see it. Off of Medical Center Drive, you have to turn and go behind the building, and then you see the building. The physical location, the way they have it built with the building in front of it, was not very appealing.
Court at Round Rock is very nice. The staff has been very helpful. The rooms and apartments look very nice and the common areas are very nice and well maintained. The facility location is OK. The grounds are also very nice and well kept. The dining area's very nice and inviting. You don't have a distance to walk, but you do have elevators, which is a drawback.
Regal Estates of League City is a really nice, clean place with lots of activities and friendly staff. The food is good in the cafeteria. They have field trips, bingo, card games, and things like that.
I had a great experience at Orchard Park. They gave me all the information I needed and were very helpful. The staff was awesome, very warm, answered all of my questions, and took a lot of time with me. They gave me a list of activities that we can do and tried to make us feel comfortable. The dining area looked clean, and I liked it that they had menus to choose from. I loved that they had somebody there to take in new people, made sure that they came in, ate, and got into a group. They had a library, a salon, a place where people can meet, a movie room, and different house plans. They had a really nice grassy area for my dad’s dog. I felt my dad would be comfortable there.
My mother has lived at Garden Estates for four years and has been so happy with her community of friends! She loves being involved with lots of activities at GE: Bingo, Card games, Dominoes, resident outings, and Arts and Crafts. We no longer have to worry about mom being lonely and she enjoys 3 great meals each day! Tons of services are available for her: Church Services, Hair Salon, Exercise classes, Entertainment, Transportation to appointments, Group Outings, Home Health care, etc. The directors and staff are fantastic and I feel they truly care for their residents. Garden Estates has been a huge blessing to my mom and her family!!
Arcadia Assisted Living is a lovely, family-owned facility. It has high ceilings and plush carpeting. The building is maintained nicely and functional; however, it has a very dated feel. The railings, furniture and some of the cabinets could be updated. The staff is supportive and understanding. They strive to understand concerns from the family perspective and help the families understand the different conditions the seniors may be in. The rooms and bathrooms are small yet suitable with functional kitchenette. The meals are served resturant-style in a well lit dining room. The activities are stimulating and great for seniors to socialize and strengthen the mind and body.
Royal Estates of Wichita Falls is a facility with activities galore. I was quite impressed with the number of activities offered at this facility. This facility also has specialized programs to promote brain health and to insure that residents are both happy and healthy. Another perk of this facility is its onside barber and beauty shop and its many recreational areas where residents can sit and have a good time. Royal Estates of Wichita Falls is a facility that does well in every category.
Garden Estates of Temple has lots of charm. This facility has a distinctively ‘new’ feel about it. The facility is very spacious and modern with cozy furnishings that leave this facility feeling like an extension of home. I was quite impressed to see a piano in the building. Some of this facility’s amenities include daily meal service, a fitness center and regularly scheduled activities. Activities are even scheduled out in the local community, providing residents the opportunity to attend unique outings.
There are abundant amenities at this facility including a billiard room, and the residents appear to be enjoying themselves. Both the outside and the inside of the facility are very clean. The grounds at Garden Estates of Temple are well manicured and maintained with plenty of seating areas throughout. Inside the facility is quite clean with many recreational areas throughout the building.
The main dining area of the facility is open and spacious. The menu can easily cater to even the pickiest of eaters and the cooks seemed very accommodating. Staff at Garden Estates of Temple was very polite. Garden Estates of Temple is a well-managed facility with no shortage of fun activities to keep residents engaged. No matter where you turn, there always seems to be some sort of activity going on.
The amount of activities hosted at this facility is impressive, making this a great choice for someone who suffers from bouts of boredom. I highly doubt you will ever be bored at the Garden Estates of Temple. This is a great facility that nearly excels in all areas. There is room for improvement, but certainly no major problems. Garden Estates of Temple is modern and updated, but still manages to have a very relaxed atmosphere.
The living spaces of the residents seem comfortable, with updated features throughout. The living quarters for residents also appear to be quite spacious with plenty of space for those who might be visiting loved ones. Overall, the Garden Estates of Temple is a modern facility with plenty of amenities to keep residents happy, healthy and busy. Even despite this, there is still room for improvement in the area of management.
Royal Estates of Abilene is a unique community in my opinion because it offers a variety of activities catering to various cultural groups. They menu even offers plenty variety of homestyle choices. The staff here is friendly and helpful, I was able to ask lots of questions that were appropriately answered. This community is well maintained and close to shopping centers and restaurants.
I enjoy visiting Garden Estates of Tyler because it is a very nicely maintained both inside and out. The staff here was kind and informative. I looked at menus and activity calendar and they were sufficiently planned. Garden Estates is very clean and maintained. This community central located, so residents can easily access shopping, dinning, or theater.
Acadia is located in a peaceful area. The staff members I encountered were kind and the residents seemed happy. Some of the residents were sitting around reading and others were participating in an activity. The areas I walked through were clean and I never smelled any foul odors. I enjoyed my visit and overall the staff and facility are very nice.
This place is beautiful, serene, clean, and spacious. While walking around the property, I noticed the beautiful landscaping and the residents enjoying the courtyard. A few of the residents were sitting outside socializing and playing cards. This is a well-managed property with lots of extras. The facility is located in a beautiful area, just off a main roadway,
The Hampton at Meadows Place is in close proximity to everything, yet it’s tucked away in a serene community. Location is a plus for this facility. The environment is peaceful and promotes comfort. My aunt enjoys the outdoors, so she fell in love with the area immediately.
The staff is the second greatest asset of this community. People were frequently asking if I needed anything and making sure that I was being assisted. I was given an opportunity to view the facility and ask questions as needed. Upon entering the facility, I noticed the clean, neat environment and the seating area. The dining room was open, yet comfortable. There are great menu items to choose from and lots of staff members available in the dining room to assist the residents at mealtime. I especially like that there were family members dining with their loved ones.
The Hampton at Meadows Place is equipped with a media room, a game room, and lots of extras. The game room allows for the residents to be creative and offers many choices. There are also lots of activities planned throughout the week. Activities are planned on and off site, and they are planned to offer variety. I would like to see more culturally diverse activities and activities that are more individualized to fit residents’ needs.
The cost of this facility is moderate in comparison to similar properties. There are extras that can increase or decrease pricing including laundry and transportation services. Care plans are provided during admission after assessing the various needs of residents. The memory care and therapeutic care at this facility is awesome, and education is accomplished to make sure that family members are aware of the process. This facility is great for residents who need assistance with activities of daily living and minimal care.
Wow, this location is perfect! Village at the Woodlands Waterway is absolutely beautiful. When I walked in it felt like I was on vacation at a fabulous resort. This community is peaceful, relaxing, and reminds me of a nice getaway spot. Once inside you are welcomed by relaxing sitting areas and for someone like me who loves to read, this is like heaven. The staff seemed very personable and caring. The food smelled wonderful and tasted just as good. All of the living spaces that I saw were clean, neat, and organized.
Regal Estates is clean, modern, and nicely decorated for a comfortable feeling like home. The staff seemed attentive and I saw a few interacting with residents and laughing. I visited on a beautiful day and was able to see one resident being pushed in his wheelchair around the community getting a chance to take in the nice weather. Regal Estates was clean, peaceful, organized, and well kept.
This community is apart of the Greatwood subdivision allowing for families to be near to the loved one. The property is beautiful with perfectly manicured landscape and the staff greets everyone who visits. I have heard only great things regarding the quality care provided by staff at this facility and can see how everyone I spoke with had great things to say about this community. Schedule your tour today.
I toured this lovely facility and found that the residents are happy and appear to enjoy their home. There are a variety of activities available for the residents and their families to participate. The facility is located in the community but close enough to the freeway for easy commute for families. Support groups for the residents caregivers are available at the facility.
Orchard Park is conveniently located in McKinney. The skilled, compassionate memory care professionals seem to be dedicated to providing residents with the care they need while they enjoy the community’s warm atmosphere. The calendar shows lots of activities designed with the needs of residents whether they are active or not. They have 24 hour care available if residents are having a health crisis and they are comfortable in calling additional help as needed, such as home health. The pricing seems to be in line with the pricing in the immediate area. I recommend touring this property if you are needing the McKinney area.
Greatwood at Sugarland has a very cozy up-scale feel when you enter. The staff is kind and friendly. The administration staff are professional and helpful, and the nursing team show a lot of loving care to the residents. Some of the residents seem to be really down to earth and content. While others seem to be bit conservative. There are plenty of things to do for the residents to maintain their quality of life. When dining Seniors are served a well balanced meal. Depending on your preference, the taste may be a little bland. Overall, they are a wonderful independent/assisted living providing great care.
Overall, The Hampton at Meadows Place is nice with wonderful caregivers. Outdoors the landscaping is beautiful and peaceful. Indoors the furniture is staged to be very inviting and relaxing. It reminds me of an apartment. For this reason, I love it for Seniors that just need a little assistance. However, I do not think the layout meet the needs for alzheimer residents. Since there are various stages of dementia. A one-story layout for senior to transfer smoothly would be more suitable in my opinion.
Nice area and great location! Hampton at Meadows Place is in an excellent location, it's peaceful, relaxing, and reminds me of grandma's. Hampton at Meadows Place has many relaxing sitting areas for reading, visiting, or just sitting back and relaxing. The staff seemed very personable and caring. The food smelled wonderful and all of the living spaces that I saw were clean. They also had a very interesting activity going on that reminded me of jeopardy!
My Dad lived at Regal Estates for 6 months. I visited 2 other facilities before deciding on Regal Estates. It was the most loving and caring facility in the Clear Lake area. The rooms were nice and clean as was the overall facility. They were able to place my Dad in a downstairs room close to the dining room. My husband, son & I came to eat dinner with him frequently and had terrific choices on their menu. My Dad was not extremely outgoing but they would make sure that he was getting his meals regularly when he would not show up in the dining room by taking them to him. There is a salon, pool table room, tv room, large gathering room, weight/exercise room, happy hours weekly, outings and a super friendly staff. Unfortunately, my Dad required more of a skilled nursing facility so we could not continue to keep him there. I would HIGHLY recommend Regal Estates!
