I was searching for a place for my mother in law. I was caught with only a couple of days notice. Denise took the time to stay late and talked me through the entire process over the phone. She was the light in my very dark day. I was lost and had no idea what to do or which way to turn. Denise is an angel. Next day I toured the facility. It is amazing. I loved the Memory Care area. Not only was it beautiful but I was there at dinner time and the meals the residents were having were wonderful. The pricing is also very affordable. Amanda continued to follow up with me and I could not recommend any facility more highly than Cottage Landing.
Two years ago, we moved my 89 year old mother to Heritage of Peachtree. Since that time, she has become a stronger, healthier, and happier person. There's no doubt that Wanda, Debbie, and the staff are dedicated to the residents.
There are many weekly activities and each holiday is well celebrated. The 2015 Christmas decorations were beautiful! And the Sunday morning church services with Claudia and JJ are wonderful. The spiritual piano music resonates through the building.
My mother has made many new friends despite her reluctance to move to Heritage. And our family has made many new friends as well.
We TRUST Heritage and in hindsight, we should have moved Mom sooner to Heritage.
Now when I call Mom every morning to chat, I no longer need to worry if she doesn't answer the phone. As a matter of fact, if she gets tired of us five kids calling her, she can't even take the phone off the hook. Because if she does, I just call the front desk.
Services in-house include a hair salon, monthly podiatrist visit (toe nails etc), trips to stores, daily medications, yearly flu vaccines, etc
For safety reasons, Heritage also conducts fire drills on occasion. I like this idea and it's good example how safety oriented the staff are.
We appreciate Heritage of Peachtree City and feel very good about Mom living there. No place is perfect, but if you need to find a home for your loved one (s), you can feel good Heritage.

Our parents recently moved from their home right there in Peachtree City to the Heritage of Peachtree. From the day they arrived, the entire staff has been incredible working diligently to make Dad and Mom feel ‘at home’ in this senior lifestyle community. My siblings and I are aware and extremely grateful for the friendly and capable staff who make sure “life is good and safe” for all the residents not just our parents. Dad is slowly understanding he is not alone and totally responsible for mom’s daily care which at times has been overwhelming. And we realize watchful eyes are looking out for Dad, as well. It is obvious the TEAM of tenured associates at Heritage of Peachtree care about what they do, day in and day out. Leading by example, Executive Director, Wanda Khayat and Director of Nursing Wellness, Debbie Greene demonstrate compassion and genuine interest in the well-being of the senior residents as well as their staff who are, after all, ‘responsible’ for our loved ones. I have said out-loud many times since my sister and I first met Wanda and several residents “yes, this is the perfect place where Mom and Dad should be to live out the remainder of their golden years!” With all but one of us children living all over the country, my siblings and I are confident in knowing our parents needs are being met.
My father has lived in an independent apartment at Remington House for almost 3 years. I chose this facility because of its excellent reputation. I have been very pleased and, most importantly, dad is very happy. His apartment is safe and very comfortable. The staff is professional and caring. He has lots of friends -old and new. The food is good. Housekeeping is excellent. He has everything he needs. Remington House is very convenient to shopping, doctors and the hospital. I have only praise for Remington House! I highly recommend it.

5 Star all the way!! My only regret is that I did not move my mom from her previous assisted living to Heritage sooner. Dependable, caring from cooks to caregivers, lead nurse, Debbie to director, Wanda. Receptionist, maintenance staff, cleaning staff, med techs.....all get involved in their common goal which is "what's best for the resident".
I know this because I was there often. I saw care of all residents, not just my mom. I was there a lot, not because I had to be but I wanted to be. My mom had been living in another state. I talked family members to let her move to my community and live at Heritage. She was 93 and I was trying to make up for lost time with her. I am so glad she came to live for the brief time she had left in this world. It was a beautiful place to live. From the white table cloths to the caring touch of staff shown to all the patients, I am grateful.
The staff has been there for a very long time! It also has a very homey atmosphere.
I visited just the other day to see the rose bush planted in memory of my mom, Ginger Parks. It has grown to be a beautiful rose bush in the lovely garden there.
I could embellish more. Call me and I can go on and on with good things to share.
Very large chain put in one. The environment is very homelike. Great staff and wonderful residents to interact with. Everyone is a family and it is a great place to work and live. There food is awesome. It smells great and you feel like you are on vacation when you walk in the doors. They greet you well and treat you well. No better place to be. Go by and take a look at the place and you will see what I mean.
I love this place. It makes you feel at home and the staff and residents are very sweet. The residents have a great environment to live and great things to do there. I had a my clinical there and loved it to the max. I would say it is a great place to live and the food and staff are out of this world. If you get a chance to go visit please do. You will love what you see.
My mother has lived at Heritage of Peachtree for the past several years. The facility is staffed by kind and caring professionals who are always willing to go out of their way to assist my mother. Activities are scheduled regularly for the residents, and my mom attends many of these. She says that there is not much to do on weekends, perhaps because many residents leave the facility on weekends to visit their families. My mom was an excellent cook and has enjoyed a lot of fine food in her lifetime. She has mentioned that the food at The Heritage could be better, although it is plentiful. I imagine that it is difficult to prepare a variety of tasty offerings for a resident population that is elderly and has dietary restrictions. The quality of care in this facility is excellent, and I am comfortable recommending it without reservation. I would like to compliment the facility's manager, Wanda Khayat, on her hiring and retention of very dedicated staff members, including one-site nurse Debbie Greene, Handyman Chris and Admin Assistants Joyce and Kim. The facility is very clean and well-kept. Overall, The Heritage of Peachtree is a fine facility and deserves serious consideration if you are in need of a safe and comfortable assisted living residence for a loved one.
my dad was a resident in both independent and then assisted living. The staff was always helpful in taking care of his needs and providing me with information needed for his care. All the residents were very friendly and the facility was always clean when I went to visit. My dad has passed away but he was always very complimentary of every aspect of Remington House and thoroughly enjoyed his time there and the friends he made.
When we realized that our dad could no longer live alone, our family made an appointment with Wanda, the Executive Director at Heritage of Peachtree. We were welcomed with big smiles and happy faces from everyone we came in contact with. The facility is beautiful, clean and feels like home. Our dad has been living there four months and the love and care he receives from the staff is wonderful. They sense when he needs a little extra TLC and they make time to stop by and sit awhile. They offer many activities and he especially enjoys the outings to shop or just have fun. He really enjoys the food (he's a picky eater) and the company at meal times. The family support has been exceptional. The staff is always available to answer questions, help solve problems and offer moral support. In other words, they extend their care and support to ALL of his family for which we are so grateful.
My mother has been a resident at Heritage of Peachtree for a few months. We visited several assisted living homes in the area, and were drawn to the caring environment at Heritage. The staff is fantastic--from the administrator, to the nurse, to the CNAs, to the office staff, to the cooks. They work as a wonderful team to provide the best possible care for each resident. When I see the administrator and the nurse pouring coffee for the residents each morning and chatting with everyone to assure that their day is off to a good start, then I know we made the best choice of Assisted Living homes.
One of the hardest decisions I've had to make in my adult life was to move my Mom from her home into Assisted Living. From the very beginning, the staff at Heritage have helped in the transition. Over the past seven years I have never doubted that Mom was receiving the best care and attention from the wonderful staff. They go above and beyond in every aspect of providing a "home-like" environment for the residents and have become like a part of our family.
My mother-in-law is a new resident at Heritage of Peachtree. We visited many senior communities in the area before helping her choose her new home. Every staff member that we have had contact with has been exceptionally friendly, courteous, and caring. Many features of each apartment at Heritage are unique... from the well designed bathrooms to the personalized "memory corners". Shared community areas around a center courtyard are very nicely decorated. We have great peace of mind knowing that she is well cared for in this very home-like environment.
My mother has lived at Heritage since 2007. Our family is pleased with the care she receives from the caring administrator on down to the dining room servers. Everyone is efficient, loving, and works hard to keep Heritage up-to-date and comfortable. Mother enjoys the activities and has met many friends. She feels at home there.
Heritage of Peachtree is a lovely facility that you can really call home. I have been in the facility as a vendor for 10 years and have always been impressed by the care given and the love that is shown to their residents. They have had the same staff for many years. This is amazing in this field. Something that most people would not know but it is extremely important Heritage of Peachtree has had ZERO deficiencies on their state audits for 12 - 13 years!! This is very telling on how this facility is run. Kudos to the leadership of this facility. They do it right!
My mother has lived at Heritage of Peachtree for the past six years and is very happy there. The director and entire staff is very warm and friendly, while being knowledgable and very efficient. They really care about their residents and it shows. The building is very clean, inside and out, and beautifully decorated. They serve a good variety of very tasty meals and welcome requests and recommendations from residents. I highly recommend Heritage of Peachtree to anyone looking for an independent/assisted living environment for themselves or parents.
If they could retain their staff better that would help their community. Their residents are all memory care so better staff retention could help with their quality of care.
The greatest part about this facility is that they care for memory care patients at different levels of dementia. So as they decline they just move the patients to a different program of the community in the facility that is more able to care for them. Some communities won't take memory care patients too far into dementia, but this community is so state of the art they have no problems taking in those patients.
Additionally, nutrition is treated as very important for the residents of this community. They have a special hydration system specifically to keep their residents hydrated. They use a special water filtration system that gets to the cellular system faster and keeps residents hydrated and can keep them less prone to urinary tract infections (which can be detrimental for memory issues).
I came to Heritage of Brookstone (4) four years ago. After visiting many other assisted living communities, I was immediately impressed with bright open feeling of the building. The high ceilings, nicely furnished common areas and the wide open views from the attractive dining room in to the garden with it's lawn and garden. The staff is extremely professional and caring. The administration is open to suggestion from the residents for the benefit of all. This has become my HOME and the residents are my family. I expect to be here for many years to come and will continue to receive quality and personal care that I require. I recommend Heritage, my home, very strongly.
