Byron Park is a community of 187 units, 110 of which are independent, and 77 of which are assisted. They do not offer memory care yet, but may at some point. They offer 14 different floor plans, which is the most this reviewer has heard of, yet I only got to see one plan--a nice one bedroom. What stood out to me is that they are one of the few communities I have seen with a pool and hot tub.
They are pet friendly, yet they are the only pet friendly community I have visited that charges a monthly fee for pets. Many of the amenities they offer are akin to other local communities, yet, for some reason, I did not find the warmth and friendliness here that I have experienced at other communities. Byron Park surely could be a good fit for the right person though.
This is a beautiful facility located near Vons, a shopping center, popular restaurants, and local parks. The facility is landscaped with a fountain and colorful flowers. Upon entering this assisted living home, I noticed that there were many seating areas, and there were also seniors residents sitting and talking with one another. I talked with one of the residents, and she told me that the staff are friendly, and they check on her throughout the day.
The facility also provides transportation, and I saw a few residents get in a van for what I was told was for a trip to the store. The facility is clean, and the resident rooms/apartments are cleaned daily. There are a lot of options for activities that include quilting and bingo. The warm, family feel, and dedicated staff make this facility an option for any seniors searching for a home that they can really feel like they are cared for.
Our families who have chosen to move into this wonderful community are not disappointed. Attention to detail comes along with a wonderful, caring staff of professionals clearly dedicated to those they serve. The community is beautiful, activities engaging. Great location - with easy access to downtown Los Altos and Palo Alto make this a wonderful community for individuals who wish to remain independent and continue to enjoy what the surrounding communities have to offer.
Beautifully appointed assisted living community in the city of Orange, California. The staff is family oriented and caring of their residents. There are many activities to keep the residents stimulated and involved. Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere. They provide a swimming pool for their residents to exercise in.
Emerald Court has a long-standing reputation in the community. The staff goes out of its way to make the residents feel at home and cared for. The food is outstanding as well as the care that is provided. Emerald Court provides independent as well as assisted living options.
Residents comment that they appreciate the location as it is close to so many things, especially since many residents do not drive any more. They also comment on the great food choices they are given. The atmosphere is always welcoming, with an active lobby.
This community has a larger number of males then females. Which is very unusual. It reminds me of a mens club. Personally I think the ladies are very lucky to not be the majority. Although this property is small and parking is a challenge, the staff, transportation and activities make up for it.
The food is great and the staff is friendly and accommodating to families who visit. The care is excellent and much respect is given to the residence. I see a lot of helping other residence and a lot of socializing amongst themselves.
The price is affordable and the location in Escondido is great. I would definitely consider this community for my dad if he were to lose his spouse. A lot of cards, laughing, and story telling.
Such a beautiful place with fantastic amenities. The management team and staff are professional and kind. This assisted living is definitely for those who want to be pampered and stay active and engaged.
