The Chateau at Poet's Corner is the only one of the four local Chateau communities that is devoted exclusively to memory care residents' needs. The Chateau communities have also been family owned, which adds a very nice personal touch, as there is no corporate overseer at these communities. Included in their monthly rent costs are assistance with the 5 ADLs' as well as an up to 10 a day medication management, incontinence products and a variety of other needed services. Their community fee is relative low for the area and there are many other services and amenities included in the monthly rent that this reviewer cannot list. Overall, this is a great community for those needing full time-memory care services and amenities and I highly recommend it.
Chateau on Broadway is a completely independent living community. There are a total of 152 units--studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms. Each apartment has a complete full kitchen, equipped with a stove, oven, full size fridge and freezer, as well as a dishwasher. In addition, each apartment has a nice sized balcony. The 2 bedrooms also have a storage area in the balcony. There is a movie theatre area, an on-site salon, and many excursions to local shopping and doctor appointments. Since this is an independent community, residents do their own laundry in community laundry facilities. They only serve breakfast and dinner each day, so residents have to make their own lunch plans. They are equipped with a 24 hour staff, should a resident need assistance after hours. They also have an underground parking garage ($50 a month), which is a great welcome from the hot summers and rainy winters. This is a nice community for those looking for an independent living lifestyle.
Carlton Plaza has a home-like/welcoming feel. Staff always appeared cheerful and interactive with residents. A concern was regarding the assessment process for independent vs. assisted vs. memory care. There seemed to be a disconnect on communication between resident, family, primary care providers and the on-site medical staff. Duplication of paperwork was done for each decision of added care or medications. Placement in the facility, no matter where, seemed to be the driving force rather than what was best for the resident. Dress codes for seating in the dining room were not communicated effectively resulting in restricted use. Overall a very decent facility, caring staff and abundance of activities.
The Chateau III in Pleasant Hill is a wonderful place for its residents. It has a total of 143 units, 24 of which are memory care units, which are shared suites. All of the Chateau senior living communities are and have been family owned. They offer all-day dining, as well as a 24/7 café in which the residents can help themselves to snacks. They have Monday and Friday happy hours, as well as on Weds., if there is a special event. The Chateau III offers a large beauty salon that offers hair care, nail care, and has a "general store" there for other beauty needs. They also have an on-site physical therapy room, most important for residents who have just left a facility where they have physical therapy needs. Each unit has a small refrigerator, sink, and microwave, but residents need to pay for cable and phone charges.
There are weekly "field" trips to dining/shopping, etc., as well as exercise classes daily. There are several places throughout the facility that they can access free WiFi. There are also 2 lovely garden areas, and ample parking for visitors. Lastly, the Chateau III is very close to downtown Pleasant Hill, which offers dining choices and a 16 theatre movie experience. The staff was most helpful and I highly recommend the Chateau III to any future resident.
My entire experience at Chateau III was great from my beginning phone call to Alison Wall, Sales Manager. She was very friendly and helpful in setting up an appointment that was convenient for me, not for her. Alison was very professional, knowledgeable and willing to accommodate special needs. When I arrived at my appointment, she was expecting me and made me feel welcome. We sat down and reviewed the things that were important to me and then we took a tour of the beautiful community. I observed a very active atmosphere where the residents were engaged in different activities all with smiles on their faces. I met the vocational nurse who was very informative and interested in finding out from me what I was looking for. I was introduced to every staff member that we passed and was impressed with their involvement with the residents. I asked a few residents how their dining experience was and they had nothing but great things to say about the variety and quality of food that is offered on a consistent basis.
Carlton Plaza Davis is the latest community in the Carlton Senior Living family of communities and the newest assisted living option in Davis. When you pull up to this beautiful modern building, you feel like you are entering a vacation resort. The staff are warm and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The restaurant offers anytime dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner so you can plan your day around your activities and if you get hungry for a snack at midnight, the Carlton Café is open 24 hours per day. A licensed vocational nurse on staff every day assists residents with their health management, diabetes control and medication.
Crown Plaza is a Carlton Senior Living Community located directly behind the Carlton Plaza of Sacramento on Fulton Avenue. Crown Plaza offers extended assisted living services for those requiring extra assistance. Nursing is on staff 24 hours a day to manage higher care needs. They offer supportive services for post-operative and stroke rehabilitation. This community can service the more challenging care needs so that you can enjoy a homey environment and perhaps not have to consider the traditional skilled nursing facility which is a less inviting environment. The facility is beautifully decorated and kept immaculately clean, so you can get the assistance you need in style.
Carlton Plaza Sacramento is a cruise ship on land. This is a very active community with activities galore. This property reminds me of a hotel resort with a beautiful courtyard with seating for outdoor socializing. The service is first class providing care at all levels. You can eat in the restaurant anytime that is convenient for you, so you are not restricted to specific dinner times. The staff are very friendly and helpful putting the residents needs first. Parking can be a challenge for visitors and Fulton Avenue is a busy thoroughfare so walking around the community is not recommended.
I left my grand mom here as she was not feeling comfortable at our home. She is a dementia patient so she needs a lot of care. The staff here is very friendly and involve them in various kind of activities. I am definitely going to recommend them to anyone who is looking for senior living.
Outstanding community with beautiful grounds. Most rooms open onto a courtyard with great light and exposure. Staff is caring, professional and very friendly. Activities are endless and a quick ride in the elevator where the daily opportunities are posted let's you quickly know the team here is truly vested in making sure their residents are happy and engaged.
From the generous front entry to the intimate cafe', this community provides a variety of areas to enjoy. The activities, outings, and special events are exceptional and well suited for the residents. The atmosphere provides many opportunities for leisure strolls, comfortable seating areas, as well as a beautiful grounds to view or walk about in.
I have been a resident of Chateau II Assisted Living for over a year. The staff is friendly and helpful; the facility clean and well-maintained. There is a lovely deck where one can read, overlooking a wooded area w/creek. Mind-broadening and other activities are available. The salad bar is great; wine every night. The food tends to be bland and could be warmer. Overall, I have a positive feeling about Chateau II.
Thank you to the Chateau managers and team, for all of the care, patience, time and efforts you put in to helping my father, he was a blessed and happy man until he passed in March. My husband and I appreciate all that you did for him. We really want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sending us flowers on his funeral. Thanks again!
I visited this community in June and was amazed to see the kind of gratitude, humility and selflessness these guys are filled with at Carlton Plaza of San Jose. My friend's mother is staying there for last three years. The community had organized a family reunion on one weekend in June and all family members of the residents were invited. I accompanied my friend to the Carlton Plaza of San Jose to be the part of the event. I happened to meet a lot of other residents staying there for long. They were quite happy and satisfied with the staff, food, cleanliness, amenities there. It felt great to see aged people singing, dancing, and enjoying in the weekend get-together.
I will recommend this business to anyone, who need assisted living!
I enjoyed my stay at Chateau on Broadway two years back. I never felt home-sick or missed my family during my stay. The staff was so helpful and co-operative. They knew what I want and when I want it, just like my daughter at home. I always waited for weekend activities and participated in them. I made a lot of good friends there. Food was finger-licking good and they took care of presenting it beautifully. I will give five stars for the cleanliness and greenery these guys maintain in and around the community. Next time, when my daughter makes a trip abroad, I will love to stay gain at Chateau on Broadway. Thanks a lot for your love and support!
My mother is not addicted to taking naps in the noon anymore. Instead, she keeps herself busy in the everyday activities organized at Carlton Plaza of Fremont. She calls Carlton Plaza of Fremont her home, which makes us relieved and happy. Thanks a lot for everything!
Many thanks for keeping my father safe and comfortable during his stay at chateau on broadway. We had to leave the state for a contract job and were worried about our father’s well being. Then a friend of mine recommended us Carlton Senior Living. My father keeps talking about his stay at chateau on broadway and would love to stay there again in future.
Wonderful, caring, friendly staff. Everything about them is great. The food is the best around. The community is always clean and tidy. Residents are always well cared for and look like they are participants in their community.
The Carlton Plaza of Fremont is a beautiful, multi-story CCR facility. The fact that the residents appear smiling and friendly indicates the quality of life they are experiencing. A beautiful Mediterranean-style courtyard enhances the living experience. The food is advertised as one of the best of all of the Carlton group. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, but most importantly, they brighten up the atmosphere.
