We’ve placed my mother in Greenville Place. It’s a single story and probably 25 years old. The interior is laid out in an open series of areas with rooms in between. She’s only been there for six weeks, but everyone is tremendously helpful. They have a nurse’s station. She’s in physical/occupational therapy, and they have a lot of different types of activities that they do for the seniors. They have bingo and religious services and arrange occasional day trips. The dining area is very nice. They vary the food day to day, and it seems to be very sufficient. We looked at several facilities, but this one seemed to be the best for her.
Greenville Place has friendly and courteous staff. They let me know what’s going on and give me feedback. They call me if there are any issues. The residents watch TV, have devotions, and do bingo and other games that stimulate their minds. The dining area is appropriate and spacious with enough tables and chairs and space for wheelchairs, so that’s good. It’s a two-person room with a bed, night stand, dresser, and their own closet.
Greenville Place was great. They had started to remodel, and it will look even better when they are done. They were very informative and helpful. We did not see the activities, but we saw the walking areas and the outside areas where there were opportunities to walk. The rooms were very spacious and had a shower in the room. The dining area was very nice and adequate.
