Village at Lowry was a wonderful, very well-kept place. The residents were very happy, and there was a lot of interaction, moving around, and activities. They're right in the community of Lowry that used to be an Air Force Base, so there are stores close by. This is my number one place to put my mom. The staff member, Erin, was fantastic, very honest, took a lot of time answering my questions, and showed me everything that I asked to see. I felt very comfortable with her.
I liked the idea that the building at Brookdale Roslyn was locked down and nobody could enter between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. I really liked the security. It had the additional level of skilled nursing, which would be important if Mom becomes insulin dependent. I liked that the facility was simply laid out in a letter H, which would be very good for my mom because she wouldn't get lost in the hallways. Everybody in there was very happy answering my questions. The residents were out of their rooms, there was interaction between everybody, and it seemed wonderful. It would be an excellent choice for my mother. Most of the residents were out gambling that day, so there weren't extra people around except for the people finishing breakfast and those heading to music therapy.
Brookdale Mariana Butte was wonderful and clean. The people were very caring, receptive, and there for what my dad and our family needed. I would highly recommend it to anyone. They had a nice cafeteria and a giant living room to gather in. They had an entertainment director. They watched movies that were appropriate for the memory care and had a beautiful garden area. The rooms were of a very nice size with nice big bathrooms for the wheelchairs. They had a beauty salon. You felt safe because it was in a very nice neighborhood and attached to the assisted living portion of it. It was a locked-in facility, but you didn't feel locked in because there were windows.
My dad is at Brookdale Green Mountain. I like the people there. I think it’s a pretty good place. My dad seems to be doing OK. I think they have done a good job taking care of him. They appear to be well-staffed. When I speak to them or when something is up, they seem like they are always fairly timely as far as taking care of things or checking in on him or making sure things are OK.
I have been searching for a place for my mother. She is needing help with taking her medications and getting dressed. From the very first visit, I felt good about this community. The staff were smiling. The residents were smiling and it DIDN'T SMELL! This Assisted living is top on my list and I've visited twice now.
The Meridian Westland is a high rise building community that offers graduated services from independent living all the way up to skilled nursing care. Completely enclosed, including the entries to the apartments, residents never have to worry about the weather outside since the entire building is enclosed. In case of an emergency there is a nurse on site 24 hours a day 7 days a week as well as other staff. Their Bistro is open all the time so if a residents miss a meal they can always pick up something to eat there. Cherry Hills Village is only a mile away and the community offers transportation free of charge to community residents.
The Meridian Englewood offers independent living only. If a resident requires services such as help with ADL's they can contact the community who can make arrangements with a home care agency. However, if a resident needs memory care later in life they can move to another Brookdale community that offers that level. The Meridian Englewood is their sister community and offers memory care. Westland Town Center is right across the street and offers shops and restaurants. This community has very active residents and they offer exercise classes and a therapy gym. The community really does cover everything from on site speech therapists to wellness programs.
The Meridian Arvada offers a lot of activities including a putting green and is right on Ralston Cove Park. Ralston Road Cafe is across the street and Royal Bakery is down the street. The surrounding area is level so great for walking. Community has on site beauty shop and it's apartments are for seniors who want independent living. (They don't offer assisted living). The community is also policed 24 hours a day by a roaming security force.

They offer a number of amenities to include: different sizes of rooms with kitchenettes, library, beauty / barber shop, onsite medical care, social events, spiritual outings, exercise programs and clubs. Brookdale Highline is an assisted living facility. They are focused on providing residents with innovative solutions. The most notable include: a restaurant style dining experience, medication / daily living assistance and an assortment of activities. The biggest drawback is the smaller living space in comparison with other facilities. However, in spite of this, the facility offers a unique and supportive environment for residents.

The staff is very caring and professional. The facility has a variety of rooms to include spacious one and two bedroom apartments. They offer a number of services such as: a flexible food program, transportation for all residents, fitness / social events and specialized care. I was impressed, as the residents receive custom solutions in a supportive environment.
The staff is very helpful in answering our questions. There are spacious rooms with lots of amenities. This made feel very comfortable in a relaxed setting. They specialize in meeting the needs of residents who are suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia using customizable programs such as: Memory Care. This helps residents to receive specialized support and programs that deal with these conditions.
Overall, this place is ideal for us. We live down the road and my Father-In-Law has lived here for about 2 years. He has been happy, he found a girlfriend after the 2nd week. The staff has changed quite a bit, however, I think they finally have some folks who have been with the company for a while. I'm looking forward to the renovation being done, as are the residents. That's the only complaint we've had in a while.
My mother had a severe case of the flu and was admitted to the skilled nursing facility. Although there were some bumpy moments for the first few days, the staff was always responsive to Mom's needs. Our family wants to especially thank the nursing, nursing assistant, OT and PT staff members for their excellent care.
The staff and physical therapy staff were great. I would have rated the facility all five stars except sometimes short staff and my mom had to wait for help. Otherwise would recommend it for loved ones.
I have had the pleasure to work with Englewood Meridian on many occasions over the past few years, and all our clients speak very highly of the community they live in. I believe the two most important things to our clients are menu/meal options and quality of care provided by staff.
I actually joined a client for lunch, and the chef came out personally to see how our meal was, and the other residents throughout the dining room. I certainly enjoyed my lunch that day. The staff was so professional and attentive. I felt like I was in a very nice restaurant! The Meridian offers Independent Living, Personalized Living, Skilled Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing Care all in one building. I feels it’s important to have these levels of care in a community so that once you move in, you never have to move out for a higher level of care. The staff is very stable, and they have many employees that have been there for 5 – 20 years! I have always found that customer service is the communities top priority. I am pleased to refer clients to this community!
I cannot begin to express how happy we are with My Mother in law living independently at The Meridian. She moved into the apartments January 2013. She is so involved, more than she was living in her own town home. She now attends many of the exercise classes offered. She also works in the store a few hours a week. She has most recently become her floor ambassador! This is where they welcome new residents and meet with them in the dining room for dinner and introduce them around. The employees know all the residents by name. We also have someone from Meridian care, come in daily to make sure she is taking her medication and that her portable oxygen is refilled and working properly. I was worried because she doesn't drive anymore. She now has her hair and nails done at the Salon on premise and is happier than ever. It is a big social hour in there:) The food is like a 5 star hotel! The Chef is amazing and even hosts "Chefs" lunches to share his cooking techniques! The bus takes groups of people places. She has even hired the car to drive her to appts we weren't available to get her too. Next week the bus is taking them to museum to see the Exhibit! What a fine choice we made in Choosing Meridian!
Newer facility with nice amenities. The staff could afford to be a bit more attentive to residents when the call button has been pushed. Unfortunately, the time it takes for a staff member to respond is too long. This is something that can be easily corrected by management, however.
The Westland Meridian has recently been remodeled and is a lovely community with bright open space in the lobby for people to gather. There are choices for the residents with a variety of floor plans and a wide range of activities and social events.
In my interactions with staff I found them to be friendly, accommodating and focused on the residents.
If you or a family member are considering a transition to a retirement community give the staff at Westland Meridian a call for a tour and learn more about what this great community has to offer.
