Regency Grand was very nice. We took a tour and talked to some people who were setting up a room for a party. We tried the food, and it wasn’t wonderful but definitely wasn’t bad either. They had everything there, which was very nice. They seemed to do a lot of classes and was a lot of opportunity for family to come visit the person. They had a lot to offer.
My relative was in Heritage Springs for two months. It was kept up well, and the grounds were clean and neat. The food was good, but we definitely experienced some issues with service and medication. I know there was theft going on in the facility. It didn't affect us personally, but there definitely were some concerns. They weren't always very responsive. It's difficult getting in and out of the building after hours because it is lockdown. People wouldn't answer the phone or come to the door quickly. It's OK, but I would not want to live in a place like that. What impressed me was the cleanliness and the entertainment and activities that they offer. I would recommend it if they have a family member visiting daily or if they have someone able to check in, monitor, and keep up on things. Otherwise I would not.
We placed my father-in-law at Heritage Springs. It?s a very nice, beautiful place, but we still has problems with getting his bed and his trash emptied every day, which is something in the contract that should be done on a daily basis. Other than that, we are not moving him out because of that, but we were not very happy with things not being done yet was told would be done on a daily basis. The rooms and apartments are beautiful and very clean. They do have a lot of activities going on like church services every Sunday, birthdays parties, and bingo. My father?s comment about the food is that he would like the food to be seasoned a little more.
I like the size and the amount of activities at Waterford. The staff seemed well organized. The rooms were nice, and the dining room was beautiful and looked out over the river. The food was varied and pretty good. They had a pool, exercise classes, lectures, crafts, and a lot of different stuff going on. They bring a lot of music in, and try to do a good variety of things. I appreciate that they have a personal preferences coordinator to help each individual get settled and figure out what kind of activities they want to do. I think that’s a smart idea, which is one of the reasons I picked them.
Regency Grand at West Covina is a very nice place in the middle of big, urban setting, but the whole middle of the complex was this beautiful Japanese garden with running water. The woman who showed me around was really great. I liked the apartment setting; it was very close knit, and I knew somebody was watching out for her. Every room looked out onto this beautiful garden. The staff were wonderful, nice people.
Heritage Springs was a very pleasant place. They showed me where they hold the music, entertainment, and activities that are very soothing for their residents. The facility itself was very clean and fresh. They allowed a seven-day visit, which I find very important. This place was very unique, and everything was in order. The menu was fantastic.
Regency Grand was nice, but it was expensive and a little further away from our house, and we wanted my dad to be a little closer. The amenities were excellent and included a gym, a pool, and a pool room. However, we decided that my dad probably would not have taken advantage of those amenities. The staff was very nice, friendly, and gave us a tour of the place. The rooms were very accommodating and very nice, and the common areas were very clean, very spacious, and very well lit. I would absolutely recommend it. Regency Grand was a very good place.
The Waterford Grand is gorgeous and really nice with a beautiful dining hall and very good staff. It’s brand new, so it’s updated. They are right by a river so they have a nice view. The maintenance is very good.
We went to the Regency Grand. It was new so the rooms and the common areas were really nice. It’s on a busy street but in a fairly quiet area. They had a lot of activities and took the residents to the museums.
