Bonaventure of Lacey was a huge and fine facility. It was very pretty, but too big for my dad. The rooms were fine, very spacious, and clean. It was easy to find in a nice part of Lacey, and the grounds were pretty.
Riverton by Bonaventure was nice and clean. The staff was really nice, but the food was always cold, and it took about two hours to get a meal. I think they were way understaffed. The facilities were nice, and Mom had a nice closet. It would be nice if they could vacuum the hallways more often, but the place was good.
My overall impression of Bonaventure of Salmon Creek was good. It looked like the staff seemed attentive and good. Overall, I was pleased with it. The dining area looked nice. They had a library, an activity room, a bus, a card room where they play cards, and a nice cafe with a social room for people.
Bonaventure of Lacey was a nice facility. They gave great attention to the location and helped the patients and the families build a plan that worked for everybody. The atmosphere was comfy. The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive. The rooms were nice. Some were kind of small, but they provided a wide range of financial options for the levels of social classes of people.
We placed our in-laws at Woodland by Bonaventure. It's a nice place and fairly typical with a dining room, nice apartments, activities, and transportation. They're in a nice two-bedroom that's well kept and clean. It could have been more luxurious, but it was more than adequate.
We really enjoyed our visit at Bonaventure of Salmon Creek. The staff was great, did a great tour, and offered everything that we were looking for. We got to visit with some residents and hear from the residents themselves about the facility. It was a really nice place.
Bonaventure of Lacey was very homey. They had the option of a single room that was readily available, and I think they are taking care of their residents pretty well. My grandfather is in memory care which has less access to the amenities. They have books and things, but not a library. They have an outside area. The dining area memory care is beautiful, and they have a happy hour, as well. They have a full-menu, and it's very elegant.
I liked that Riverton by Bonaventure had a multitude of activities offered. The rooms were open, bright, very resident-friendly, and adaptive to different patient needs. It was a community within a community. They served three meals and had snacks available. The staff was fantastic, and it was very clean, open, and sunny. It's just very positive. In fact, my husband and I said that at some time in our lives, it would be a good fit for us. The rooms were fantastic, open, bright, inviting, user-friendly, and had personal facilities accessible for different types of mobility. I was very impressed. Everyone I saw and spoke with was very informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was a very positive experience overall.
Cedar Ridge was probably the newest one I've seen. It’s quite large and had retirement as well as assisted living. The staff all seemed to be very nice. Our church group used to meet there. I haven’t actually seen inside the rooms, but I was familiar with the rest of it. It’s very well laid-out and furnished. They had about four dining rooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. It is a huge place. I just asked the questions I needed to ask because I’ve been there so many times. The location was excellent and close to things, like doctors and businesses, in a really nice area.
I would like to thank the staff for their concern and well being for my father. He hand nothing negative to say about anyone there. I was able to see this first hand. When we needed help. They were there to assist us. I would like to give a special Thank You the overnight staff. They were there when we needed special help. I pulled the string and I could hear them running through the hall to assist us. Everyone was nice and very helpful and friendly. If I had a choice. I would be in this facility. I wish my mother in-law had been there. But she lived a long way away from the island. Island life is very nice and I have told a lot of people about you and your staff. Thank You again for your help. My father was Grover Pell and I am his daughter Jo Ann Flowers from Florida.
Silver Creek by Bonaventure was a very friendly, clean place. They seemed to have a lot of activities for their residents. The rooms were nice. The office staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I want to live there myself.
Silver Creek was very nice. Everyone was fine. They were very nice and very informative. I didn’t get the chance to see an apartment because nothing was open at the time for us to see. The facility was very nice.
This is an excellent retirement community for seniors who are ready to downsize, or who are in need of consistent companionship after their spouse passes. While the 1 bedrooms are certainly smaller than the average Lacey home, the bathrooms are spacious, and there is decent closet space. I have not viewed the larger apartments.
The assisted living services are perfect for seniors who need a little extra assistance with ADLs, but this is not a skilled care facility.
The activities are fairly good for seniors who no longer drive, and transportation for general necessities is available—grocery shopping, doctor appointment, etc.
I moved my mom here in Sept 2014. It was a ROUGH transition. The staff at Bonaventure was very helpful with getting her involved and listening to my frantic phone calls. Donna, the executive director, always has her door open to my mom, as well as me. They have all been very supportive of me and even got me into a support group for families of Alzheimer's patients. I feel like the entire staff knows me now and everyone calls my mom by name and makes her feel very welcome and relevant. The transition took about 2 months, 3 dr appts and many tearful phone calls. She is finally accepting her new home and is happy...most of the time. Bonaventure has met all our expectations.
Absolutely beautiful community in a great location. My family member can walk to shopping and the community has great walking paths. I was amazed with the staff and how great they were. My mom is relocating to this state and she can't wait to move to this community. I looked at every community in the area and the ones in Ferndale and nothing came close to how beautiful this community was. The apartments are perfect and they have full kitchens so my mom can still cook if she likes. My mom will be moving soon and the staff have made sure that she is already connected with other people that live there. I recommend this place to anyone. I have seen them all and this is #1 in the area.
First I would like to thank the staff at North Creek, You all have been so wonderful. My mom didnot want to leave here big house and move to a place where she didnt know anybody,The staff is so helpful and sincerely caring, my mom now feels at home and has made many friends. My mom suffers from Dementia so at times she becomes alittle confused to say the least, the staff has been so loving and patient and is able to redirect her without drawing a lot of attention towards her and for this I am so grateful.
North Creek Retirement& Assisted Living Community has been amazing. The staff is super loving and caring towards there residents, Christina has been such a big help with my grandma and really made her feel very comfortable there. The rooms are very nice and have a very cozy feeling to them, The residents that live there are very friendly and very welcoming to the new residents as well. The staff is so helpful and really go above and beyond to make sure everyone is doing good and have everything they need such as Christina, Fabiolia, Anthony, Olga and many more. This place really has been such a blessing for my grandma, she now has many friends, has joined different clubs and is much more social and that is exactly what she needed.
