Belmont Village Sunnyvale was perfect, except for the price. The staff and the food was good. I found nothing wrong with it. They seemed to keep the residents very busy and active. My friend now is in the memory unit, and I noticed that they really have a lot of people there, and the staff is excellent. I'll give it a 4 because it's very pricey. The rooms are very clean and nice, and everything is perfect.
Belmont Village was probably the nicest place we saw. It was very adequate for what my dad would need. The rooms were kind of small. They had nursing staff and an LPN. They had a lot of medical help that my dad would need.
Belmont Village was nice, and the rooms were nice and adequate. They had a workout room, a nice entryway, and a dining room. The staff seemed personable. They had a month-to-month rental, and that was good.
The Belmont team took great care of our mother. The last 14 months of her life were spent in Belmont's memory care. They provided wonderful assistance and kind care for our mother. It is comforting to know that she was so well cared for her last year of life.
Our Belmont experience started off in such a positive way. The team was outstanding about helping us get mother settled from the West Coast in an emergency situation. They even loaned us furniture for her apartment until her things arrived.
Once we were at Belmont memory care, the considerations continued. Mother had unique California natural food preferences and the Kitchen team was super about filling her requests for salads and salmon and vegetables. She loved the food!
We cannot thank the memory care team enough. Our mother lived most of her life independently and alone. The memory care activities every day kept her involved. We saw her thrive having people around her and she lost much of her previous fear/anxiety. My heart smiles when I remember the loving hugs that the memory care assistants gave mom. She'd hold her arms up and they would hug her and tell her she was loved. It was beautiful.
Her health situation changed as she became prone to falls and broke her hip. The Belmont nursing staff knew how to handle the situation. Many facilities do not want someone who has both dementia and significant physical limitations. The Belmont team and the nursing staff welcomed her back from rehab with open arms. We will always be grateful to them. Speaking medically, the Belmont's in-house doctor – Dr. Randy Villanueva - was the perfect doctor for us. His medical skills, experience with seniors and his compassionate heart are an amazing combination. He is a gift to his patients and their families.
We miss our mother immensely, but it gives us great comfort to know that Belmont made her last year the best it could be. The gift of care and kindness was a priceless one.
We are so fortunate to have found Belmont Village Sabre Springs for Dad three plus years ago. Dad started out in Assisted Living and is now in the Neighborhood. Every one who works here is like our own family. We couldn't ask for anything more and are so thankful for the care and love they provide.

Belmont Village in San Jose is in an upscale urban shopping area. The building itself is 7 stories, with dining and living room on the first floor that have an elegant, welcoming feel. Everywhere I went was spotlessly clean. The majority of residents appear to require some assisted living services and there were many staff members interacting with the residents. The staff were incredibly polite and kind to the residents, engaging with every resident they saw and always offering a positive comment. Each floor has intimate sitting areas residents use to chat or read as well as lovely private apartments. On the seventh floor are two patios with great vistas of San Jose, as well as a bistro where a few residents were gathered for a soft drink and a visit. On each floor I visited, I was impressed with the level of care and concern expressed by every staff member toward every resident. I would give Belmont Village in San Jose 5 Stars for Caring Staff!
Belmont Village Cardiff by the Sea is a very modern facility with plenty of bells and whistles. The onsite pool is very nice, though a bit small. There are great outdoor areas here including terraces, and the dining hall reminded me of a restaurant. The meals here appear to be well prepared and the meal I had was good. Belmont Village Cardiff by the Sea also has a full calendar of activities to keep residents busy. Overall, Belmont Village Cardiff by the Sea is a great facility.
Within walking distance of parks and shops, this facility will keep the active senior very busy. The facility large, has an open floor plan and is well-maintained inside and out.
From physical to social activities, this facility has an outstanding activity program that offers variety, caters to diversity, and keeps even the introverted senior appeased. The on site events offer entertainment, parties, and lots of social interaction.
This facility is for independent and assisted living seniors; however, most of the seniors I saw seemed to be somewhat independent and basically require assistance due to mobility. Great facility in an upbeat area. There is something for everyone to do here.
This is a rather newish facility and it is bright and cheery inside. Immediately as you enter there is a front desk with someone to greet you. One can see the dining room from the entrance. The food is excellent here and the wait staff are attentive. The location is excellent near a Walgreens as well as numerous restaurants in the area. There is a very active senior community who like to talk politics. Residents often go on various trips to see plays or go to the museum. Staff is helpful. Very clean facility.
Belmont Village Hunters Creek is a large community and offers a dynamic staff to match. I like visiting this community because the staff is always welcoming and the residents are pleasant as well. During my visit, I felt like family. There was a game of BINGO being played and lunch had just finished being served. I looked at the activity schedule and the menu, which both seem well planned. This community is very clean, neat, and organized.
If you are searching for skilled assisted living or memory care for your loved one, quality care does not come cheap. This facility is certainly pricy, but is also all-inclusive—and the staff to resident ratio provides the care your loved one requires.
The activities and events could use a bit more inspiration, but this is an ideal place for seniors who require daily assistance with ADLs, or whose mobility or memory is on the decline.
Unlike some facilities, short-term and/or respite care is available.
The property is established near the Medical Center and the West community area. As you arrive, the appearance is of a large estate and the feeling of elegance. The staff are friendly and willing to meet your needs as a visitor and resident. The environment is filled with activity with staff and volunteers who partner with the community in bringing variety to the residents lives. The décor is light and appealing to the eye and gives a feeling of warmth. The staff are professional and appear to be attentive to the residents during my tour. This property is a great asset to the West Houston Community.
The location of this facility is a major plus, they are local in the medical center. Which gives me an extra cushion of safety while my Aunt stays here. The employees make everyone feel welcomed. They make it feel like home... made me want to stay there myself. The place is very nicely decorated. I am big on decorations I notice every little thing.
Belmont Village Turtle Creek is an encompassing senior living facility in central Dallas offering independent living to memory care on the same property. It is conveniently located only minutes from many restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. The museums and theater nearby offer some of the best art and shows available in the nation. The Belmont has transportation available. They are a very active community. The activity calendar has plenty to choose from to entice any of the residents to come out to participate. The building is beautifully designed on the exterior and the interior. It is breath taking, but not snobby and stuffy. If you did not know, you would not believe that it is a senior living facility. All staff members have been very accommodating and friendly during my visits. The residents have a choice of a studio, one- and two-bedroom options. One of my favorite recreation activities is the indoor swimming pool, what a luxury! I did not try the food, but they have a Chef on staff to prepare the meals. If a resident has a special request, they have a concierge to assist in getting the request for the resident. With food being such an important part of keeping seniors healthy, they strive to keep food very appealing. It has a secure environment, licensed and providing professional 24 hour care, assistance with medication, the staff is available and willing to help. A licensed nurse works closely with the resident's family and their physician to change medication as needed. The licensed nurse oversees medication management ensuring your loved one takes the correct medication at the right time. Residents care plans are reviewed regularly and when necessary are adjusted to allow the residents' ever changing needs to be met. When a resident starts declining, the administrator and nurse will ask the family to come in to discuss options. They advise the family of the worsening condition and they work with several national and local agencies to bring additional medical help in as needed, such as, hospice and home health. The pricing is one of the more costly properties but well worth it if your loved one requires the best services available. The Belmont’s impeccable services offered go above and beyond any other senior living facilities. I highly recommend Belmont Village at Turtle Creek if top quality service and this high end location are needed.
Belmont Village Johns Creek is a beautiful community in elegant Johns Creek, GA. This community offers independent living cottages on the outer perimeter of the community and independent living apartments inside the community along with assisted living and a secured memory care neighborhood. The Executive Director Jan Boatright has been at the community for nearly 10 years but others in leadership are fairly new to their roles. Belmont Village was one of the first communities to staff LPNs to assist their residents with medication management. The dining experience at this community is wonderful. The food is homemade and delicious, if your loved one is lacking an appetite they will have a renewed love for eating once they taste the food at Belmont Village Johns Creek. The activities are very creative and age appropriate for seniors, they have morning exercise daily and wine and cheese social every Friday for the independent living, assisted living residents and some of the memory care residents that do not exhibit extreme behaviors. The community is an older building but is well kept and nicely decorated. The memory care neighborhood is beautiful and thoughtfully created with dim/natural lighting and high ceilings along with an open common area to allow for walking for those who desire to walk. There is also a secure courtyard in the memory care neighborhood for the residents to enjoy the outdoor when the weather is appropriate. This is a very nice community and I would certainly recommend this community to anyone.
I visited Belmont Village at West University and was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, modern, and nicely decorated for a comfortable feeling like home. Most of the staff seems attentive and engaged. I would recommend this facility to people I know based on the caring, compassion, and general knowledge that the staff exhibited while I was on site. Belmont West University is peaceful, organized, well kept, maintained and the staff seems to be knowledgeable, caring, respectful, and kind.
I love the area that Belmont Village Hunters Creek is located in a great part of town! As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by pleasant knowledgeable staff. Everyone seemed very personable and caring. The food smelled wonderful and all of the living spaces that I saw were clean, decorated, and some sitting areas for visiting. I also had a chance to talk some of the leadership staff and they were wonderful in terms of being passionate about the car of their patients.
I visited Belmont Village at West University while searching for a facility for my aunt. The facility is located near the medical center which is a plus. It is in a high traffic area, but I was happy that my aunt would be close to medical specialists if she needed assistance.
Upon entering the facility, I was greeted by a staff member who was friendly and helpful. My initial impression of the facility was that it was clean and well maintained. I was able to have someone provide a tour for me, and I was treated with respect. Locating a long term facility for a loved one is never easy. The staff here made sure they provided as much information for our family as possible while giving us time to view the information and not feel obligated to make a "quick" decision.
This facility has everything. It is very organized, and they provide activities for the residents. They have Activity personnel and staff that make sure residents are engaged. I think that it is important to make sure during your tour that you notify the personnel of your family member's special interest to see if they can accommodate. I feel that it is very important to ask about activities because a lack of activities for your loved one may result in a decreased morale. I was a caregiver for a long period of time. Therefore, I know what to look for to see if the facility genuinely cares about the resident or if the facility is only there to meet the minimum requirements.
This facility is one of the better ones, and they appear to maximize the resident's living experience as much as possible. I do feel that a few of the staff members could have been friendlier as I passed them in the hallway, etc. There is no perfect place so it is important that families choose a facility that doesn't treat your loved one like a number, but like the valuable human being they are.
Belmont Village at West University is a nice facility. I did not give five stars because I feel that slight improvement can be made in each area. However, this facility is willing to make the necessary changes so that your loved one would feel at home.
Belmont Village Circle of Friends dementia program is by far the best in Austin. I say that with the experience of having to find dementia help for both of my parents, my mother's downhill slide starting 7 years after my dad's, giving me 12 years experience at 7 different Austin assisted living centers including Beckett Emeritus; Buckner Village; Gracywoods and Querencia. Of them all, Belmont Village is by far superior on every aspect from facilities to care to food and parking. It has truly been a Godsend to our family. Mother's been there a year now and has not deteriorated but instead has improved cognitively and physically, which we had been told wasn't possible. She now initiates conversations and can sign her name again after losing these skills for awhile. Unlike the places where the caregivers stay on their cell phones while assisting clients, Belmont's staff is dedicated and attentive. Their programs are outstanding. If an activity is listed on a schedule, you can count on their staff to follow through and do it with love and enthusiasm. They have daily exercise with a personal trainer, water aerobics and cool crafting projects, but most important to us are the relevant and contemporary mental exercise games that are actually fun to participate in, even for visiting family members. These range from trivia games to crafts however they are never infantilizing or contrived as they often were at Mom's prior places. Belmont Village has helped our family honor and care for mother as she deserves. They have many family holiday functions and entertainment events and consistently great food that if it were a restaurant, would be one of the best in Austin. They've deleted high fructose drinks and fatty snacks, which are the mainstay diet at most assisted living facilities. It costs are on par with the other facilities were Mom was, however pricewise, you get far more care and action here for your money than you do elsewhere. Double rooms & a roommate can help you save and rest assured their intake staff keeps their word. If they say no price increase for a year, they mean it. They also have a hospitalist doctor from a nearby hospital serving the facility who is now Mom's primary care physician. This is a medical care option that has benefited Mom's health tremendously and made a transition between a hospital stay back to Belmont as seamless as possible. As a frequent visitor, I've made friends with many of the residents who live in the independent living apartments. Most are delighted with the facility, the grounds, the food and the activity options. I wouldn't hesitate to move my parents here from any other facility ASAP as Belmont Village Westlake Hills is by far the best we have found. The only down side is they offer no skilled nursing, however they do work with other facilities when needed.
In 2009 I did an extensive search for assisted living arrangements for both of my parents. They could no longer stay in their home for their health and safety. I decided on Belmont Village - Geneva Road because of their varied activities for residents at different cognitive abilities. In addition, the apartment chosen was the largest seen with adequate closet space, large bathrooms, and large windows. Dining choices are huge. There is always a chef special but residents can order off of a large menu. Most importantly the staff have always been helpful, and caring. The managerial staff have an open door policy, always accessible and take the time to talk. I have revisited other facilities but none can compare with Belmont Village.
Belmont's staff, medical, business, and care givers, have all provided excellent service and consideration to our mother and the rest of the family as well. Our mother has been a resident for a little over a year and I've never had a problem with any of the staff. They are all very friendly and very helpful in dealing with my mother who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. I would highly recomend Belmont to anyone for care and senior living.
We are so happy that our parents are at Belmont Village Burbank. The décor fosters a comfortable, home-like feeling. Mom and Dad are always commenting on how good the food is. The medication management program is wonderful for them because we don’t have to worry about remembering to re-order their medications from the pharmacy, and they don’t have to worry about remembering when to take their pills. The weekly hymn sing is a special program at the Burbank location. Most important - the staff is dedicated, professional, and very friendly. I am relieved to know that Mom and Dad are safe and well cared for.
Our mother has resided at Belmont Village for four years, first in Assisted Living and now in The Neighborhood (memory care). The management team has helped us determine her best care plan as she has aged and her needs have increased. The caregivers and nurses are excellent, we have great confidence in their compassion and expertise. We are pleased that we chose Belmont Village after considering many options, and we value our ongoing trust and confidence in the care they provide to our mother.
Villa Sorrento does not have a memory care component. When a resident's cognitive condition changes and we are no longer able to safely meet his/her needs, we help the families find a more appropriate placement. I never hesitate to direct the search to Belmont Village. We have a few transfers to Belmont Village. The families have been happy with the services. The staff, starting from Community Relations, Admissions Coordinator and Resident Care Coordinator, do not leave any stone unturned in making sure that the transition is seamless and that the resident gets the great service that Belmont Village is known for.
Many of the staff at Belmont Village Sunnyvale have been employed there for many years, a very positive sign. My mother has received excellent care from the nurses, PALS, servers, concierges, drivers, etc. The community rooms and garden area is very attractive and kept very clean. The chef is so proud to serve and please. Administrative staff is very friendly.Circle of Friends is a wonderful program for cognitively impaired. This assisted living community has served my family well
