Submission Guidelines

These are the submission guidelines for the 2011 SeniorHomes.com Caregiver Recognition Awards.

Your Story Submission

Please submit stories HERE

Some ideas of what stories could include:

  • Tell us about the person you care for and what they mean to you.
  • What challenges have you faced by becoming a caregiver?
  • How has it impacted your life?
  • How has it affected the other people in your life?
  • As a Caregiver, what life lessons have you learned?
  • What do you want people to take away from your story?

If you are writing on behalf of a caregiver you know, please tell us about the caregiver and why you wanted to submit a story for them.

Submission Guidelines

Please consider the following guidelines:

  • Focus on your individual experience around your work with an aging adult.  Be detailed and specific.
  • Your story should be no longer than about 1,000 words.
  • All submitted stories are subject to the terms set forth in our Terms of Use.
  • We will not take stories about groups or companies that help aging adults.  However, we would love members of those groups to submit a personal story about themselves.

We reserve the right not to post your story if it contains any of the following types of content or violates other guidelines:

  • Obscenities, discriminatory language or other language not suitable for a public forum.
  • Advertisements, “spam” content or references to other products, offers or websites.
  • Email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, physical addresses or other forms of contact information.
  • Critical or spiteful comments on other stories posted on the page or their authors.

Photo Guidelines

When submitting images, please follow these guidelines:

  • Images must be in PNG, GIF or JPEG format.
  • If you are not the copyright holder, you may not submit copyrighted images.
  • Objectionable images will be rejected.
  • Uploaded images become the property of Moseo, LLC.
