Spokane Nursing Home Info

Spokane, WashingtonCentrally located amongst Washington, Idaho, Oregon, British Columbia and Alberta, Spokane serves as a regional residential and commercial hub for the Inland Northwest.

The city boasts a metropolitan population of over 400,000 and offers stunning waterfront views of the Spokane River. Seniors who live in a Spokane nursing home will receive some of the best medical care in the region in a scenic, tranquil atmosphere.

When making the decision to place your family member or loved one into a long-term care facility, it is important to understand the differences between the types of care. A nursing home is a medical facility that provides skilled nursing care in addition to residential services to seniors who are dealing with severe medical conditions and mobility issues.

Nursing homes are often confused with assisted living facilities which are residential facilities that offer assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing or meal preparation but do not provide the intensive, round-the-clock medical care found in nursing homes.
