Adante is perfection at its best. This place is not just clean, it is pristine both inside and out. The design of the entire property is completely functional with style, character, and breathtaking charm. This neighborhood is serene, and there are no disturbances around the area.

When you first arrive at the facility, you will be mesmerized. I received assistance immediately. Most of the staff were attentive and friendly, and the activity coordinator was awesome. The amenities are not just above average, they are perfection.

This is more of a retirement resort than an assisted living facility. Many of the residents are also independent. According to a few residents, the caregivers assist those who need help, and they are like family to these residents. I have never seen a facility quite so grand. Everything here is larger than life, and when you are walking around, there is a comfort that allows one to feel safe and secure.

The food is gourmet restaurant-style. The chicken breasts I ate was so tender and juicy, I wanted seconds. Seasoned just right and garnished with parsley, this is definitely not cafeteria food. Menu options allow the residents to choose their meals according to preferences and diet plan.

There is a saying that you get what you pay for. That is not always the case: However, at Adante, you get more than what you pay for. The cost of this facility is in the upper price range, but the resort-style living experienced is well worth the price.

When I visited, there were seniors walking around the walking trail, sitting outside on the phone, and reading in the library. The activity list covers every aspect of social, mental, and physical well-being. The choices are diverse and varied to fit most personalities.

Since visiting Adante, I can’t wait to retire and maybe make this community my home. This community is the retirement community of the future; far more home like than the hospital style assisted living facilities. There is something for everyone here, so this community should be on everyone’s list to view and possibly become their new dream home.

Adante is clean, modern, and nicely decorated for a comfortable feeling like home. Most of the staff seems attentive, while others seemed preoccupied. This facility seems to be peaceful, organized, well kept, maintained and the staff for the most part seems to be knowledgeable, caring, respectful, and kind. All of these characteristics work well in providing a positive senior community.

The facility is beautiful and the activity director has an impressive background. The staff's social interaction with residents needs improvement. The food is delicious but not terribly health conscious.

State Records for Adante

Licensing types and standards for senior communities vary between states. In some states license types are tied to the level of care provided and the number of residents served. Licensed communities located in Texas are subject to inspections. The results of these visits are summarized in reports which outline the deficiencies found (if any) and the plan of correction the community must take to remedy the deficiency. Reports are retained by both the state agency and the community for a required length of time. Where possible, we are sharing these publicly available reports to help seniors and their loved ones make informed decisions when selecting a community.

Assisted living facilities are subject to inspections by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to determine the facility’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations as per §92.81. These visits may be for reasons of licensure renewal, inspection of care or complaint visits. Visits may be classified as either a health visit or life safety code visit.

If a deficiency (violation) is noted during the visit, the DADS evaluator will detail the facility’s violation of the corresponding regulation, and the steps the community must take to correct the deficiency. Administrative penalties may be assessed for reasons that include if a license holder violates Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 247, refuses to allow a DADS representative to inspect records or the facility or fails to notify DADS of a change of ownership before its effective date.

Though some states assign severity types to deficiencies, Texas does not. If you are interested in learning more about the cited deficiency, either contact the community or DADS to request a copy of the inspection report.
