Nestled at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains in the historic small town of Athens, Wellington Place of Athens is a stately assisted living community serving Tennessee seniors who need a little extra help with the daily chores of life. Featured Amenities

Chef-prepared meals are served three times a day in our restaurant-style dining room by trained wait staff. Menus are varied and there is no assigned seating. A private dining room is available, and our chefs will cater for parties and functions, even preparing a resident’s own recipe upon request.

Residents have their choice of studio or one-bedroom apartments that come furnished with carpeting, kitchenette, individual temperature controls, basic cable service and private bathrooms featuring step-in showers with safety bars and non-slip flooring. Small pets are also welcome to reside in our apartments.

Available Services

Here at Wellington Place of Athens, we believe in maximum independence. Our trained staff know when to assist and when to step back. Nursing staff are on-call 24 hours a day to oversee medication administration and monitor the health status of residents.

For the convenience of our residents, our housekeeping staff will regularly clean all apartments, change bed linens and even launder clothing items. Our transportation staff are on hand to drop off and pick up residents from appointments, shopping and errands.

Our goal at Wellington Place of Athens is to provide the right level of support for each of our seniors, while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible.
