Reviews of Hampshire House Assisted Living and Memory CareWrite a review
They are all about the money. They would not pick my father up from the hospital until I arrived there from out of state with a check. The facility itself is very depressing - old, dingy and not air conditioned. They should watch new residents more carefully as my father was only there 5 hours before he fell and they sent him back to the hospital. He fell again a couple of weeks later - again was sent to the hospital even though he had no injuries. If you are doing respite they require you pay a month in advance and then will not refund your money if you leave earlier because you reserved the room for a month. Catch 22. I don't know what else happened there but my father called me every night begging me to get him out of there. The director even tried to tell me that my father was happy there and sent me pictures in which she said he was smiling - it didn't look like it to me - they propped him up in a chair and put a glass of wine in his hand - disgusting!!! So glad he is out of there!
