Homplace of New Bern has both one- and two-bedroom apartments that can be occupied as private or companion accommodations. Most utilities are included, as is weekly housekeeping services. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days a week, and snacks and drinks are available to all seniors throughout the day.

Every day is packed full of activities involving the entire community, as well as individualized activities for different ability levels. There is never a dull moment here, as residents can participate in card games, shopping trips, worship services, Wii game days, book clubs, educational seminars and more.

Available Services

To meet all of our seniors’ healthcare needs, our full-time care staff are available 24/7. We also provide medication management, assistance with daily tasks and companionship. We coordinate on-site doctors’ visits, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, so that our residents do not have to travel for these services.

We have created a specialized memory care program for all of our seniors dealing with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Bridge to Rediscovery program is personalized to match each senior’s specific needs and works to rebuild lost skills. Our philosophy is to take one day at a time and acknowledge small accomplishments each day.
