The Sweet Life at Shawnee is a secure community with 18 apartments in each of our three neighborhoods. Accommodations are single-story ranch style with no steps or elevators for residents to negotiate. We offer a selection of studio floor plans with private baths, walk-in showers and emergency call systems.

Our community design maximizes independence, while enabling safe wandering, offering many living areas to socialize, enjoy music or relax quietly. Residents enjoy an old-fashioned sundae in the ice cream parlor, stroll along the community patio or get pampered and look great visiting our salon and spa.

Available Services

Our Alzheimer’s and dementia care program provides a gentle structure to each day that targets specific needs of those with Alzheimer’s and various types and levels of dementia. We provide a variety of activities to stimulate, entertain and enrich the lives of each resident including physical fitness, recreational pursuits, educational and spiritual programs.

We have highly trained memory care staff, and our staff-to-resident ratio far exceeds industry standards. Licensed nursing staff is on-site 24 hours a day for residents’ convenience or in case of emergency. Our in-house chefs provide freshly prepared meals and snacks with a rotating menu to please even the pickiest diner.
