Reviews of John Knox Village of Central FloridaWrite a review
This is being written at the request of my mother ( a 6+ year resident of John Knox) and her friends. Overall, this is an excellent senior community, however, the quality of food is now only one step above institutional. In the past, I have described the food as gourmet and delicious as did my mother and her friends. Since a change in chef a few years ago, the taste, quality, selection and presentation of the food has continued to decrease and become banal and blah. Choices of daily entrees had also decreased. The names and printed descriptions sound wonderful but are, in reality, ho-hum. Given the cost of living at John Knox and its perceived dining excellence, it is sad that it has become merely edible food. In the past, residents (my mother and her friends), enjoyed hosting family and outside-friend get-togethers. Not so much now. Today, they apologize for it poor quality. Hopefully, it will improve. Comment cards and letters have been sent in the past with no change. All other facilities and services in the community are wonderful.
