Chet and Kathy Sasaki, owners and operators of Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services with sites throughout Southern California are thrilled to be able to provide care services for the seniors in their community.
Kathy has a Masters degree in Psychology and Chet is currently a Project Manager for a Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Collectively they have over 80 years of professional experience. Chet and Kathy are excited to combine their compassion with their business experience to create this thriving organization dedicated to providing loving and compassionate care to the seniors in their community.
“We were searching for a way to make a difference in seniors’ lives and discovered Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services, which offers a win-win situation,” said Kathy. “Our center benefits seniors who need a little assistance to live with the dignity and respect they deserve while maintaining their independence. The Seniors Helping Seniors model provides a much-needed service and also benefits seniors who want to help by enabling them to use their skills to serve their peers.”
Chet and Kathy have an intimate understanding of the challenges families face while searching for reliable in-home care. “We have been there. We know how important it is for families to have peace of mind and know that their loved ones can receive loving, caring, compassionate services in their own home,” said Kathy. Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services provides that caring, trusting and compassionate peer-to-peer relationships that help seniors live independent, happy lives in their own homes.
The senior Providers working with Chet and Kathy offer companion care, transportation, light maintenance work, housekeeping, light yard work, shopping assistance and general in-home non-medical supportive care. Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services have sites throughout the Country. The organization was founded by Kiran Yocom, who has a mission and a passion to help seniors live independently. Kiran’s personal interest in seniors grew out of her work with Mother Teresa. She leads the organization through compassion and caring for all. Kiran is an inspiration and role model for all of us in the Seniors Helping Seniors community.
