To ensure this, we apply a comprehensive screening process to each of our caregiver candidates using an industry exclusive 12-point background screening and hiring process:

• a national and state specific criminal background check for all 50 state (not just CA)
• a national sex offender data base search
• MVR motor vehicle screening to search for moving violations that would disqualify a caregiver from being able to drive clients
• terrorist watch list screening
• wanted person watch list screening
• DHS OIG national sanction check to scan for inappropriate behaviors
• license and certification verification
• initial drug and alcohol testing and random ongoing test for all employees
• health and communicable disease screening and monitoring
• competency testing in both return demonstration and formal examination
• Employment reference checks
