As an integral part of the community, AlmaVia of Camarillo is located in close proximity to shopping, places of worship, medical offices, and the Camarillo Library, and is directly adjacent to the St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital. AlmaVia of Camarillo provides much needed assisted living and dementia care services to older adults in a warm, intimate environment that celebrates the dignity and individuality of each resident.
When you visit an Elder Care Alliance community for the first time, you’re likely to sense a higher level of warmth and caring than you may
have experienced at other senior residences. We continually strive to preserve the deep sense of faith, dignity, and compassion we have fostered since we first opened our doors more than 135 years ago. And because we welcome residents of all faiths, you’ll find our environment to be one of tolerance and spirituality.
Each Elder Care Alliance community provides a unique blend of services, activities, and levels of care designed to help our residents feel comfortable and secure. Creative daily meals and convenient housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services ensure that residents receive the proper nutrition and practical help they deserve. Our staff chaplains and social workers offer spiritual and family support. Dementia-trained caregivers and skilled nurses provide physical and psychological care. And our entertaining activities and programs ensure that our residents feel a sense of enrichment on a daily basis.
AlmaVia enjoys an excellent reputation within the community and among healthcare professionals because of its dedication and commitment to residents and quality service. Our programs are designed to assist older adults with care and services that enable them to remain as independent as possible, stay connected to the community and celebrate the joys that life brings to all of us regardless of our age.
Elder Care Alliance is a nonprofit organization committed to serving and enriching the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of older adults through a network of professional, faith-centered care communities and services. Elder Care Alliance is cosponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas West Midwest Community and the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
