We’ve placed my mother in Greenville Place. It’s a single story and probably 25 years old. The interior is laid out in an open series of areas with rooms in between. She’s only been there for six weeks, but everyone is tremendously helpful. They have a nurse’s station. She’s in physical/occupational therapy,...
Greenville Place has friendly and courteous staff. They let me know what’s going on and give me feedback. They call me if there are any issues. The residents watch TV, have devotions, and do bingo and other games that stimulate their minds. The dining area is appropriate and spacious with enough tables and chairs...
Greenville Place was great. They had started to remodel, and it will look even better when they are done. They were very informative and helpful. We did not see the activities, but we saw the walking areas and the outside areas where there were opportunities to walk. The rooms were very spacious and had a shower in the room. The dining area was very nice and adequate.
Greenville was once a Cherokee hunting ground, off limits to colonialists under treaty with the British. In 1768, Richard Pearis married the daughter of a Cherokee chief, was given thousands of acres and settled on the banks of the Reedy River. Jailed and his land taken from him for siding with Great Britain, all that remains of his plantation is what is today downtown Greenville and Paris Mountain Park just north of the city. After the Revolutionary War, much of the land was given to soldiers in lieu of pay and the city was named Greenville in honor of General Nathaniel Greene. There is something for every senior enjoying life in assisted living in Greenville, whether it’s the lush natural beauty, surrounding history, excellent services, or the consistent climate.
