SeniorHomes.com is a free resource for finding local senior homes. We provide comprehensive information about assisted living, memory care, retirement communities and nursing homes, as well as articles on senior housing. You can talk to a SeniorHomes.com care advisor if you wish, or simply choose communities from our website to investigate. We can provide this service free to seniors and their families because our fees are paid by the homes.

We work with you and the senior home at the same time. In most cases, when you choose homes from our website to investigate or receive suggestions from a care advisor, the home pays us a flat referral fee whether you sign a contract with the home or not. In some cases, the home pays only after you have signed a contract with it, and the payment is a percentage of the first month’s rent and care fees if applicable. In the latter case, if you move out of the home within the first thirty days, we may receive a prorated amount or nothing at all, depending upon the specific contract with the provider.

The choice of a senior home is completely up to you. You are not required to choose any of the homes on our website and you are free to work with other companies that provide referrals to senior homes.

If you talk with a care advisor, we will ask you for some health information for the purpose of determining what types of homes may be appropriate. We do not obtain your medical records, which are protected from disclosure without your express authorization.

We check on licensed homes every month to see whether they are in enforcement status for violations of license regulations. Information about violations is included on our website.

We do not ask you to waive potential liability for losses of personal property or injury, or to sign waivers of any rights established in state or federal law.
