If your loved one has dementia or Alzheimer’s and it is no longer safe for them to live independently, or their need for care has grown to be too much—then this facility is an excellent option.
The facility is designed with the additional safety and security required for residents who are prone to wandering due to the confusion that often comes with Alzheimer’s. There is even a day program that seniors can join while you are away at work.
Residents can have small pets, and there is a resident therapy dog.
I've been very pleased with the care of my family member at Silverado. The staff has been very kind, caring and patient with my family member. My overall experience has been very positive, they encourage involment of family and are welcoming. The food has been very good, they are very accommodating to likes and dislikes. The facility has a warm home like atmosphere. I like that there are several sitting areas to go have a visit. The courtyard outside is very nice. The nurses have been excellent.
