Prestige Senior has a lot of people and a lot more staff. My mother thinks the food is a lot better, which I think is a common complaint with older people because they are used to making their food. They have activities, and the price is way better.
The rooms at Prestige Senior Living at Mira Loma looked very good and had a very good plan of care. I was very impressed. The staff was very friendly and very courteous. I had no qualms with what they provided.
I was ready to move into Prestige Senior Living. The dining area and rooms were great. The people that toured us were really very cooperative and very understanding. Prestige would definitely be at the top of the list. There were plenty of people playing cards and checkers, and they have a movie room.
I didn’t like Prestige as much. It had a very large dining room area, but some of the other activity rooms were small and looked dark. I didn’t like the staff. The staff member didn’t seem that caring nor attentive. I didn’t interact with the people there because it didn’t seem inviting when you walk in, but it was OK.
Prestige Senior Living at Mira Loma seemed to be very well organized, and everyone was very pleasant. The staff was nice. I visited a room with a very big closet, and they said they had other ones that had larger living areas. Overall, it was a small place. Other than that, I didn't see any other concern, but it would cost a little more than I would have been able to afford. The dining setup looked very nice. I liked the fact that it had a private room for if you wanted to have family members or special guests over to visit; you could arrange to sit with them there, which was a nice feature to have. They had swimming and visiting entertainment.
