Holiday Retirement was founded over 40 years ago to provide independent retirement living to America’s seniors. Home to a devoted staff who view their work as much more than simply a job and friendly neighbors who act more like an ohana, our Holiday Retirement Hawaii communities provide unparalleled service and amenities at a great value. Our dedicated live-in community managers work hard to ensure that each and every resident feels right at home from the minute they step through our doors. This is what we call The Holiday Touch, and it is what makes life at our Hawaii communities so special.

I visited Hawaii Kai and thought it was very nice. It did not have availability, and I thought it was a little too big for our friend. However, the apartments were very nice, clean, and spacious. The staff was very informative and showed me around. I spent a whole lot of time there. I did not eat any of the food, but the dining area was very nice, clean, and pleasant.

This place is one of the best kept secrets on Maui. First, it is on prime real estate, right across from one of the most beautiful beach areas on Maui. The staff are professional and really nice. My Mom thinks they are all fabulous. The activities are far better than most of the facilities we visited. The apartments are beautiful, and the meals are really good. She likes that it is restaurant style and she can choose from several options. This place is awesome! If I could afford it, I'd move in, too!
i went there in 2013 with my husband and looked at all apts and this place is beautiful, and the people are friendly and warm. I couldn't believe I had seen a large number of these types of places, independent living, and this one is the best. I have seen so many because of my mother in law, first she was in new orleans then vegas then denver. She ended up in Denver. I never did understand that, snow and all. Take my word on this I'm not there yet but I will be. As soon as possible.
