Silver Creek by Bonaventure was a very friendly, clean place. They seemed to have a lot of activities for their residents. The rooms were nice. The office staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I want to live there myself.
Overall you can't just sit in your room here. There are so many activities going on, and much easier to get transportation to go out at this community. The resident socialize here, they recall one another and are not lonely. Like other smaller places close to Bonaventure that claim a smaller home like environment is better, a few places very close to this community are just boring!!!! The residents are NOT BORED at Bonaventure . Other home like places close to Bonaventure do not provide enough activities nor do they provide transportation . The smaller home like facility
Silver Creek was very nice. Everyone was fine. They were very nice and very informative. I didn’t get the chance to see an apartment because nothing was open at the time for us to see. The facility was very nice.
This is an excellent retirement community for seniors who are ready to downsize, or who are in need of consistent companionship after their spouse passes. While the 1 bedrooms are certainly smaller than the average Lacey home, the bathrooms are spacious, and there is decent closet space. I have not viewed the larger apartments.
The assisted living services are perfect for seniors who need a little extra assistance with ADLs, but this is not a skilled care facility.
The activities are fairly good for seniors who no longer drive, and transportation for general necessities is available—grocery shopping, doctor appointment, etc.
Beautiful 5 star facility with excellent staff. Very caring and extremely efficient! Anytime I have had a concern they are right there with their response. their attitudes are always friendly and cheerful, I'm extremely happy my mother my mother can enjoy such a wonderful place!
I am currently a resident at Bonaventure of Castle Rock. I like all the people who live here! The staff is wonderful too! I like everyone from Donna (Director) down to the activities people (Kelina & Aimee) to the kitchen staff (Mike the chief and Jade the cook) to all the waiters (too many to name). I really like (Melissa) my room cleaner. They all work hard to make my life better. Anything I need, they get it for me. SUPER!
The staff here at Bonaventure is the best. Service is five star. Residents make us feel like we are one big happy family. We are so thankful our children found this place. Our chef is gourmet in every way. He listens to our needs and the food is great. I think the staff and residents are the best people on earth.
I moved my mom here in Sept 2014. It was a ROUGH transition. The staff at Bonaventure was very helpful with getting her involved and listening to my frantic phone calls. Donna, the executive director, always has her door open to my mom, as well as me. They have all been very supportive of me and even got me into a support group for families of Alzheimer's patients. I feel like the entire staff knows me now and everyone calls my mom by name and makes her feel very welcome and relevant. The transition took about 2 months, 3 dr appts and many tearful phone calls. She is finally accepting her new home and is happy...most of the time. Bonaventure has met all our expectations.
Absolutely beautiful community in a great location. My family member can walk to shopping and the community has great walking paths. I was amazed with the staff and how great they were. My mom is relocating to this state and she can't wait to move to this community. I looked at every community in the area and the ones in Ferndale and nothing came close to how beautiful this community was. The apartments are perfect and they have full kitchens so my mom can still cook if she likes. My mom will be moving soon and the staff have made sure that she is already connected with other people that live there. I recommend this place to anyone. I have seen them all and this is #1 in the area.
First I would like to thank the staff at North Creek, You all have been so wonderful. My mom didnot want to leave here big house and move to a place where she didnt know anybody,The staff is so helpful and sincerely caring, my mom now feels at home and has made many friends. My mom suffers from Dementia so at times she becomes alittle confused to say the least, the staff has been so loving and patient and is able to redirect her without drawing a lot of attention towards her and for this I am so grateful.
While this is an older building, the staff is exceptional! The care here is top notch as well as the food. There are plenty of activities to suit all tastes. This is a community that I would feel good about my own mother living in.
North Creek Retirement& Assisted Living Community has been amazing. The staff is super loving and caring towards there residents, Christina has been such a big help with my grandma and really made her feel very comfortable there. The rooms are very nice and have a very cozy feeling to them, The residents that live there are very friendly and very welcoming to the new residents as well. The staff is so helpful and really go above and beyond to make sure everyone is doing good and have everything they need such as Christina, Fabiolia, Anthony, Olga and many more. This place really has been such a blessing for my grandma, she now has many friends, has joined different clubs and is much more social and that is exactly what she needed.
As a local In-Home Care Provider, I look at Communities in two different ways.
Initially I look for a Community that is open to having our Caregivers on site as a supplement to their existing services so they can retain their residents through end of life.
Secondly, I look with an eye towards the move-in if the need arises for my at home clients to move into.
Riverwood is an amazingly open and friendly location. When I'm there with one of my clients, the staff are friendly, gracious and welcoming. The Residents are truly happy, talking amongst themselves, going to activities. I've interrupted a Bingo game or two, been there during meal times and haven't heard a negative comment from anyone I've interacted with.
The setting is back away from the main road, under the trees. Very quiet and lush.
