Description of Evergreen
Located in the city of Southfield, Michigan, Evergreen Health and Living Center provides rehabilitative therapy, respite care and skilled nursing services to seniors. This facility takes a holistic approach to recovery, devising individualized treatment plans that include physical therapy, speech-language pathology and occupational therapy. Seniors with unique health needs have access to specialized therapy programs, such as fall prevention training, cardiopulmonary care and pain management. The facility is also equipped to deliver state-of-the-art respiratory care to seniors with pneumonia, cystic fibrosis, chronic bronchitis and other respiratory diseases.
Evergreen Health and Living Center features upscale, resort-style amenities chosen to enhance resident comfort throughout the recovery process. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Evergreen was very nice, and we liked it very much. My mom was there for rehab, then went to long term care. The staff was wonderful, very nice, and accommodating. The dining area looked very nice. They had bingo, ice cream socials, and coloring.

I wasn't taken by the staff at Evergreen Health & Living Center. It was very sterile, and there wasn't much emotion in anybody. The room and everything was clean, but there wasn't much warmth. It seemed like whenever I had a question, it took longer to get answers. My mom had been to rehab at other places, and they didn't charge her for things like phone or the TV, and here they did and I wasn't pleased. There wasn't that much therapy. They only had her there for five days. She wasn't really happy with the food most of the time.
